Barefoot Backpack Walk-My-Horse Trail Bags

Barefoot Backpack Walk My Horse Trail Bags are wonderful for young horses, old horses, for ponying other horses, or just walking to establish trust. This trail bag has plenty of storage, two large pockets, bottle holder, map pocket, straps for coats or blankets, and more.

The backpack Walk-My-Horse has a removable, washable bottom (similar to a saddle pad), which is fastened with Velcro and is padded to support the spine. It is fastened with a V-girthing system, allowing lots of room. It has a chest strap at the front and a waist belt in the middle - both with integrated elastic band and keepers for the strap.

The backpack features:

9 pockets, some with zippers, some with clips
4 straps that attach to the rear or the front
elastic v-rigging
Reflectors for visibility
600D nylon fabric with polyurethane coating, strong and water resistant

This backpack will fit Shetland ponies and large horses. The straps can be cut easily. To avoid slipping, the luggage should be distributed evenly. For safety - Keep your cell phone on you, and not on the horse!

Bought these for my 34 inch pony. They are far too big for her. The chest strap and belly strap need to be padded. The nylon strapping would rub her raw. The bags need a cropper and breaching to be more stable. I am going to use them for pony trekking here in the ocala national forest in central Florida. I will be making multiple alterations to this product to make it more functional. The quality of the bags and the straps is very good. I did think that it came with a rain fly but it did not. That would be a nice option. The soft saddle portion of the packs could be a thicker, heavier felt to be more supportive of the weight in the packs and of items strapped on top. Over all, I would recommend this product to someone who is able to modify it to be more functional.

While my young donkey’s have only tried on the Barefoot Backpack Trailbags, I’m really excited about them! There is numerous spaces for a variety of things, and I love the bright colored rain cover that will be quite visible during hunting season. I like that it already has a breast collar attached, and a handy handle to lift and move it with! Then there are the extra straps to attach more on top, and the removable pad that can be washed! I haven’t seen anything else like it and am excited about it! Thank you!
