RETURNS:
Before returning any items to Barefoot Saddles USA, please contact customer service at [email protected] to get a Return Authorization number (RA) or exchange instructions.
TIMELINE FOR RETURNS/EXCHANGES:
To return, exchange, or make a claim on a product or shipment, please do so within one week of receiving the item. The product must be shipped back to Barefoot Saddles USA at the buyer's expense within 30 calendar days of the original shipping date. Returns will not be accepted after 30 days. SADDLES must be returned within 7 days.
When returning an item, we strongly recommend insuring your shipment and getting a tracking number. Barefoot Saddles USA is not responsible for lost packages and will not issue a refund or exchange if the return is not received.
Special orders and close-out sale items are not eligible for returns, exchanges, or credits.
RESTOCKING FEES:
For returns and canceled orders from Germany that are already in transit, a restocking fee of up to 10% may apply.
If your order has shipped and is in transit within the USA, it cannot be canceled. You will need to return the product.
Please note that returned products must be unused with the
original tags still attached. If the returned items do not satisfy these
requirements, your return will not be eligible for a refund or exchange. For saddle returns, a $100 restocking fee will apply.

REFUNDS:
After we receive your return, we will process it and issue your refund. Please note that it may take 7-14 days for the refund to appear in your account, depending on your bank's processing time. For late returns submitted after the 30 days, processing may take up to 20 additional days.
Shipping charges are non-refundable. We provide a discounted flat-rate shipping fee for our customer; however, this fee does not reflect the actual shipping and handling costs, which are higher.
Please note that all returned products must be unused with the original tags still attached - no exceptions.
If the returned items do not satisfy these requirements, your return will not be eligible for a refund or exchange, or it may be subject to a 10% restocking fee. For saddle returns, a $100 restocking fee applies.

SADDLE RETURNS - POLICY & GUIDELINES
NOTE: WE CANNOT ACCEPT RETURNS FOR USED SADDLES, USED SADDLE PADS, OR USED GIRTHS AND CINCHES.
When you purchase a saddle from Barefoot Saddles USA, we want it to be a good fit for you and your horse. With our Saddle Return Program, you can return the saddle after one week (7 days). However, you will be charged a $100 restocking fee and you are responsible for the return shipping cost. To ensure the return is accepted, please follow our specific instructions to keep the saddle in new condition.
When you receive the saddle, you can check its fit for both you and your horse. However, you should not ride extensively in it. Please keep the saddle clean and leave the tags attached.
Use your own saddle pad and girth/cinch, as you cannot return a used saddle pad or girth/cinch. If you do not have a saddle pad or girth/cinch, you can request a demo saddle pad and demo girth/cinch to be sent with the saddle. If you decide to keep the saddle, you are responsible for returning the demo saddle pad and cinch.
Place your saddle pad or the demo saddle pad and saddle on your horse. Take your time to get it settled, girth it up and assess whether it fits your horse. Please feel free to email us at [email protected] for help with saddle fit. If you do not feel the saddle is right for you and your horse at this point, put it back in the box with tags still attached.
Place your saddle pad or the demo saddle pad on your horse, and take your time to adjust the saddle and secure the girth. Assess whether the saddle fits your horse properly. If you need assistance with saddle fitting, feel free to email us at [email protected]
If you determine that the saddle is not right for you and your horse, please place it back in the box with the tags still attached.
If you're happy with how the saddle fits your horse, you can sit and gently ride in it in a controlled area. Do not go on a trail ride. To protect the stirrup leathers, cover them with a tube sock, halter fleece covers, or similar materials to prevent marks and rubs on the saddle. Wear soft pants or breeches, as half chaps, full chaps, tall boots, jeans with seams, bling, and pockets can scratch and leave marks on the saddle. If you mark up the saddle, scratch it, or damage it, you will not be able to return it. Additionally, if the saddle is returned with dirt or hair on it, an additional $85 cleaning fee will be charged.
If after one week you decide to return the saddle, email us at [email protected] to request a Return Authorization Number. Make sure to include a copy of your receipt. Pack the saddle carefully and insure it. You will be charged a $100 restocking fee. You are also responsible to pay the return shipping charges to send the saddle back to us. This process ensures that both you and future customers receive a new saddle.
- All returned or exchanged items MUST be in UNUSED CONDITION and with ALL TAGS - NO EXCEPTIONS.
- ALL returns can be subject up to 10% restocking fee.
- Additional shipping and handling charges will be applied to all exchanges.
- When shipping a return, you are strongly advised to insure your shipment and obtain a tracking number. Barefoot Saddles USA will not provide a refund or exchange if your package is not received.
- Failure to follow any of the above guidelines may result in additional shipping and handling charges for any items that need to be returned to you.
