Barefoot Contour Trail Halter Bridles

If you are concerned about the comfort of your horse on the trail, this Barefoot Contour Trail Halter Bridle is for you. The crown piece that goes behind the ears is padded and curved perfectly for the comfort of your horse. This alleviates pressure behind the ears where there is a nerve that attaches to the occipital bone. The occipital bone forms the joint between the skull and the first vertabra.

The Barefoot Contour Trail Bridle is very versatile and easy to adjust from a pony to a warmblood. The crownpiece, noseband and throatlatch can be adjusted on both sides. You can easily buckle on a bit with the detachable cheek pieces that have a buckle on one end and a snap on the other. It can also be used without a bit as the noseband is softly padded and has two rings so you can attach reins. You can also detach the throatlatch completely. The bridle can also be used as a halter to tie up your horse while having lunch out on trail.

Made with soft leather in black and brown. Leather bit straps are included.

This is the favorite of both my daughter and her horse! It's super handy to have the halter incorporated into the bridle and I love that it can be adjusted all over, including where you attach the cheek strap. The only drawback is that some of the parts are stitched on and not replaceable--we are on our second bridle because the first broke when the reins were accidentally stepped on. I do appreciate that it broke without injury to the horse though, warranting the full 5 star review. We have not used this bridle with a bit, but it appears that it would function well.

The bridle is beautiful, but more importantly, it actually fits my mammoth donkey! Very well made, lots of adjustable parts, well designed, and high quality. Very comfortable for her, which is wonderful. I am really happy with this purchase!
