Barefoot Fenders with Knee Rolls

These Barefoot Fenders with Knee Rolls can be used with 1" or 2" English stirrup leathers to create more support while riding your horse on the trail or in the arena. When used with Barefoot 2" English leathers these fenders are very sturdy.

The image with the saddle show these Barefoot Fenders with Barefoot 2" Wide English Leathers on a Barefoot Atlanta. This arrangement is popular with endurance riders. It provides support especially when riding downhill, yet allows your stirrups to swing freely so you can move with your horse.

You can use these on the Barefoot Atlanta, Arizona or the Barefoot Cheyenne.

90 degree stirrups and fenders	June 30, 2024

I have a spinal condition that’s ending my showing and riding career. I found my barefoot saddle second hand. I bought the 90 degree stirrups and the fenders to help with my balance and hopefully still be able to go for a walking trail ride. This was my last effort to remain in the saddle. They stabilize my legs and feet to where I don’t have to post anymore. I can just sit perfectly balanced on my horse. I don’t experience the pain I had in my jump or dressage saddles. Thank you barefoot for keeping me on a horse. I was losing hope.
