I asked about measuring my horse before purchasing the breastplate, as she is hard to fit. I was told you don’t have measurements and based on my description, I should try the cob size because the breastplates are very adjustable and I could always return it. The breastplate arrived and I have no complaints about its quality, but the straps that connect to the dee rings on the saddle were too short, although the rest of it fit well. I inquired about exchanging just the straps for the larger size and was told that would not be possible. Since the straps are separate pieces, it seems to me they could easily be exchanged. The horse size would have been too large everywhere else. The customer service was prompt and polite but ultimately unhelpful. I would have rated this high but the inability to exchange straps is poor service.
